Why do this work?

We believe that working in the service industry should not restrict a person from growing their family, or from being able to take parental leave and focus on wellness for themselves and their loved ones.

Parents are substantially under-supported and lack a reasonable parental leave. Family growth is seemingly incompatible with service work which drives many parents out of the hospitality industry altogether. We hope to help create a world where parental leave and financial support for parents is a baseline expectation within the hospitality industry. Someday, it should be the standard practice for hospitality employers to retain talent as they grow their families and professional development is not conditional.
